410/HT Stainless Steel Plate

410/HT Stainless Steel Plate

410/HT Stainless Steel Plate is the heat-treated version of Type 410 stainless steel.

410/HT stainless steel plates offer an ideal balance of strength, hardness, and moderate corrosion resistance, making them suitable for a wide range of industrial applications. The heat treatment process enhances wear resistance and durability, providing excellent performance in industries such as automotive, oil and gas, and power generation.

410/HT Stainless Steel Plate is the heat-treated version of Type 410 stainless steel, which is a general-purpose martensitic stainless steel with moderate corrosion resistance properties in mild atmospheres, steam, and many mild chemical environments.

The HT (Heat Treatment) version of this alloy, however, has improved high-temperature strength and offers better resistance to stress corrosion cracking. This makes it suitable for use in various applications where temperatures can reach up to 1200°F (650°C), such as gas turbine parts, petrochemical equipment, and industrial furnace components.

410/HT Stainless Steel Plate typically contains 11.5-13.5% chromium, up to 0.15% carbon, and small amounts of nickel, manganese, and other elements. It is available in a wide range of thicknesses and can be easily welded, machined, and polished.

410/HT stainless steel plates are widely recognized for their excellent mechanical properties, strength, and corrosion resistance, especially after heat treatment. This alloy is a martensitic stainless steel, chosen for applications requiring both strength and moderate corrosion resistance in high wear and tear environments.

What is 410/HT Stainless Steel?

410/HT stainless steel is a version of 410 stainless steel that has undergone a heat treatment process. This process enhances its hardness, strength, and mechanical properties, making it suitable for applications where wear resistance and durability are critical.

Benefits of Using 410/HT Stainless Steel Plate

Alloy 410HT is the basic, general purpose, heat treated version of Type 410. It is a martensitic type, used for general purpose, where corrosion is not severe. Alloy 410 contains a minimum of 11.5% chromium which is just sufficient enough to demonstrate corrosion resistance properties in mild atmospheres, steam, and many mild chemical environments.

Applications requiring moderate corrosion resistance and high mechanical properties are ideal for Alloy 410HT. Examples of applications that frequently used Alloy 410HT include:

【H】 Ceramic lined pipe

Ceramic lined pipe is made through self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS) technique.

【H】 Cast basalt lined steel pipe

Cast basalt lined steel pipe is composed by lined with cast basalt pipe, outside steel pipe and cement mortar filling between the two layers.

【H】 Ceramic Tile Lined Pipes

Ceramic tile lined pipes have very uniform coating of specially formulated ceramic material that is affixed to the inner of the pipe.

【H】 Rare earth alloy wear-resistant pipe

The material of the rare earth alloy wear-resistant pipe is ZG40CrMnMoNiSiRe, which is also the grade of rare earth alloy steel.

【H】 Tubes Erosion Shields

Tubes Erosion Shields are used to protect boiler tubing from the highly erosive effects of high temperatures and pressures thereby greatly extending tube life.

【H】 ASTM A213 T91 Alloy Tube

The ASTM A213 T91 seamless tubes are primarily used for boiler, superheater, and heat-exchanger.
