Heat Treatment

1) 890 ~ 900 ℃ oil quenching, 200 ~ 300 ℃ tempering, air-cooled;

2) 890 ~ 900 ℃ heated, quenched into 210 ~ 280 ℃ nitrate bath isothermal 1h, air-cooled, and then at 200 ~ 300 ℃ tempering, air-cooled.

Features

High hardenability. Machinability and weldability are good.

But sensitive to notch and hydrogen embrittlement (including environmental hydrogen embrittlement). 30CrMnSiNi2A is suitable for important stress-bearing structural components. Such as high-strength connectors and shaft parts.

16MnDG steel pipe is a low-temperature steel pipe. 16MnDG steel pipe is suitable for -45℃~195℃ low-temperature pressure vessel pipes and low-temperature heat exchanger pipes. 16MnDG steel pipe has good comprehensive mechanical properties and process properties. The content of phosphorus is slightly lower than that of common 16Mn steel. In addition to the requirement of higher tensile strength and elongation than common 16Mn steel, impact toughness is also required.

GB/T 18984

GB/T 18984 stipulates the classification, code, order content, size, shape, weight, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificate of seamless steel pipes for low-temperature pipelines. GB/T 18984 is applicable to seamless steel pipes for low-temperature pressure vessel pipes and low-temperature heat exchanger pipes with a working temperature ranging from -45°C to -196°C.

Manufacture

The tubes shall be manufactured by the seamless process and shall be either hot-finished or cold-finished as specified.

Heat Treatment

All seamless tubes shall be treated to control their microstructure in accordance with one of the following methods:

Inspection & Test

Chemical composition analysis, tension test, flattening test, flaring test, hardness test, impact test, NDT, surface inspection, and dimension check.

Length

5800mm; 6000mm; 6096mm; 7315mm; 11800mm; and so on.

Maximum length: 30000mm. Also, U bending can be provided.
